Registration
Step 1 - Click on the tab/button called REGISTER, located at the top right hand of the home page screen of this site.
Enter all the details required over the next couple of pages. All mandatory fields must be completed with current, accurate information.
Once Registered on the site - you will be provided with a unquie customer LOGIN Reference number. Remember it or write it down and keep it safe. You will require this number each time you log into the site.
Registering on the site is equivalent to setting up a 'user account' it DOES NOT mean you are registered on the common housing register yet.
Step 2 - To join the Common Housing Register, allowing you to apply for available properties, you must complete a full Housing Registration Application on this site.
You must enter all relevant information relating to your household. Following submission of the application you will have 28 days to provide proof of identity and that of anyone else applying with you as a joint applicant or moving with you as part of your household, this includes any children registered proof of child benefit will be required
Once submitted, Council Officers will seek to validate your application. You may be asked for additional information at this time or copies of certain documents etc...
Once validated - you will receive a message to your newly created online account, notifying you that you are now active on the system and hence able to begin applying for advertised properties.
Your notification message will confirm:
- Your housing application number
- The band your application has been placed in and your priority date.
- The number of bedrooms you are entitled to.

You must tell us if there are any changes in your circumstances so that we can reassess your application and if necessary make changes to your band and priority date or bedroom entitlement based on your household circumstances.
Property Size
You will normally only be eligible for properties that are suitable for the size of your family. In the rare event where no households of the correct size apply for a property, will applicants which are likely to under-occupy a property be considered, and this would need to be supported with evidence that the property would be affordable.
